Ever wondered what do with gas canisters with a small amount of gas remaining - well now we have the solution.
FlipFuel.co was started by backpackers for backpackers in 2021. Its FlipFuel® fuel transfer device aims to solve a simple problem: What do I do with this box of partial fuel containers I won't take on a trip?
-Transfer fuel between canisters
-Always carry a full canister
-Use all of your fuel
-Recycle empty canisters
With FlipFuel®, backpackers can consolidate fuel from partially filled fuel canisters. Preserve pack space and weight. And recycle the empty canister.
So, all those half-empty isobutane canisters collecting dust in the garage? Transfer the fuel and pack a full canister for the next outdoor adventure - whether it's camping, ultralight backpacking or long-distance hiking. FlipFuel® also helps thru-hikers make use of leftover fuel found in hiker boxes along the Pacific Crest Trail and Appalachian Trail.
The device works best for transferring fuel of the same brand and Isobutane fuel type/blend. These fuel canisters can be canisters of different sizes. (Like from an 8oz to a 4oz.)
Founded by experienced backpacker Eric Flottmann, the small outdoor gear company is headquartered in Tempe, Arizona and manages all of its shipping and customer service in house.
